FAQs

What is body sculpting?

Body sculpting is a controlled fat reduction and body contouring procedure. It's a non-surgical treatment that safely removes stubborn fat deposits from the body.

What is ultrasound cavitation?

Ultrasonic or ultrasound cavitation is the use of ultrasound technology to break down fat cells below the skin. It is a non-surgical method of reducing cellulite and localized fat. This procedure involves applying pressure on fat cells through ultrasonic vibrations. The pressure is high enough to make the fat cells break down into a liquid form. The body can then get rid of it as a waste through your urine.

What is radio frequency?

Radio frequency, or RF, is a treatment that uses energy to penetrate and heat up the skin to tighten it, stimulate collagen production, and boost blood flow.

What is vacuum therapy?

Vacuum therapy is a treatment used for enhancement and cellulite reduction. As an enhancement treatment, suction is used to mobilize fat cells to the desired areas while lifting and plumping. As a cellulite reduction treatment, suction is used to loosen the fascia to release fat cells and widen capillaries along with improving circulation and promoting overall health.

What is wood therapy?

Wood therapy is a body contouring treatment that uses purposely shaped refined wood pieces to sculpt the body in the desired areas. These tools intensify the breakdown of fat and fibrous cellulite so that it can be naturally eliminated through the lymphatic system.

What if I have sensitive skin? Do any of the products used cause allergic reactions?

All other products are organic and intended for sensitive skin. On rare occasions, it's possible to have a reaction to ultrasound gels, however, if you do we will immediately remove it.

Do any of these treatments hurt?

No! All of the treatments are pain-free. At most, some may cause slight discomfort. For wood therapy, if you experience discomfort, we will move at your pace to build up your tolerance.

Who is the best candidate for body sculpting?

Individuals who are close to their goal weight, exercise often, eat healthily, do not smoke are ideal body sculpting candidates.
